A Forex platform calculates a position from volume, price, and leverage. It is not an "up/down" bet with a fixed payout: margin and swaps live separately from binary options logic. The PHP script provides the account area and web terminal; market reality comes from the quotes feed.
Before going live, enter instrument specifications and account rules as carefully as you design the Buy button. A wrong contract size appears as "wrong profit" and damages trust more than a crooked banner.
What to configure
- Instruments and price step. An empty pair list means an empty terminal even with a live API.
- Leverage and margin requirements by account group.
- Trading sessions: outside a session, an order must not look like a connection error.
- Swap and its schedule, with an application log.
- Demo/real modes and the deposit path.
Product script: Forex white label script. Brand: white label. Options are a different path: BO.
Trade check
Open a demo account, place a market order, wait for equity to change, and close the position. The history must reconcile entry price, exit price, and result. Mismatches are usually in contract size and spread, not in a "candle bug". Demo: demo account. Account area: account area.
- Compare the symbol with the feed: quotes, API.
- Check the chart: TradingView.
- Make sure WS/last are alive: WebSocket.
Terminal: web vs MT4
A web terminal is easier to give to clients: no installation, your brand, one KYC path. MT4 is familiar to prop traders and advisers; if the client requires EA support, that is a separate path. Comparison: MT4 alternative, UI: trading terminal.
Money and KYC
Deposit to real, withdrawal through a verification gate: deposit and withdrawal, KYC. Do not show an empty payment method. Margin and locked funds must be visible in the account area, otherwise "where did my balance go" becomes a daily ticket.
Platform risks
Test stop-out and margin call on staging. A stale feed during volatility is the worst scenario: pause trading or show a banner, but do not silently calculate from an old price. Tick age monitoring is mandatory on production.
Infrastructure
MicroPanel, MicroDrive, and MicroEditor are for VDS operations and targeted fixes. Back up the database before changing instrument specifications.
Acceptance
Demo trade video, specification table, leverage rules, session rejection screenshot, withdrawal test with KYC, and a stale-feed runbook. For mixed businesses, provide a clear "Forex account / BO account" choice with no gray zone.
A Forex platform is ready when orders, margin, and history reconcile on demo with a live feed. Complete this path first; marketing can sit on top later.
Client groups
Separate demo, retail, and VIP with spread and leverage conditions. The group is assigned in the admin area and affects the terminal without changing the login. The user sees their conditions before the trade, not after it. Group changes are logged.
Referral accounts must not break margin calculation. Separate bonus funds with withdrawal rules.
Operator reports
Summary: daily volume, number of positions, average client PnL, and feed status. Export by instrument helps catch a bad specification when one symbol creates abnormal platform profit or loss.
Alert on order-write failures and growing terminal API response time. The web terminal is more latency-sensitive than it looks; users click the button again and catch duplicates if there is no idempotency.
Training and help
Short articles in the account area: how to set volume, what margin is, and why the market is closed. Links to the terminal and demo. This reduces live chat load in the first promotion week.
Do not promise profitability in help. Promise transparent calculation and clear money-request statuses.
Spread and execution price
Define whether the client sees bid/ask or mid plus commission. The chart view and execution price must be explained by one model. If the spread floats from the feed, show it in the UI; if it is fixed, do not draw someone else's exchange spread as yours.
State whether market orders have slippage. Put the rule in help. A surprise during NFP news without a rule means a stream of tickets.
Test low-liquidity instruments: do not open exotic pairs in a promotion until the specification and feed have been verified on demo for a week.
Release checklist
Instrument specs, group leverage, demo trade, stop-out on staging, KYC withdrawal gate, SSL, mail, backup, feed monitoring, mobile terminal. Name an owner for each item. A release without an owner is a release nobody can roll back at night.
Platform operating rhythm
Keep one morning checklist for ops and support. Split channels: trading errors, money issues, KYC, and technical 5xx. Escalation to the quotes feed must be short, with a link to the manual inside the ticket system.
Run a quarterly drill: stale feed on staging, banner, team chat message, recovery. Muscle memory matters more than a polished procedure nobody opens.
After every campaign, compare marketing promises for leverage and spread with actual account groups.
Check negative balance behavior after stop-out: reset to zero or go negative. The account area display must match the rule. A surprise "-$3" without explanation creates toxic reviews.
Forex platform acceptance matches script handover, plus help content about margin and sessions. Make sure the status page or banner can be enabled without deployment. Assign an on-call owner for the first traffic week. Related materials: script, web vs MT4, terminal.
Run the end-of-day open positions report and reconcile it with total margin. Catch internal reporting discrepancies before an auditor does. Add an instrument-spec autotest: volume step must prevent invalid lots from both UI and API.
Close acceptance with a dated checklist and a named owner. Store it near staging access. Six months later, during audit or team turnover, it will be clear what was considered ready for traffic. Update the checklist when you add a new instrument class or leverage model.
After handover, do not turn off staging: it is the safest place to reproduce first-week tickets without risk to production positions.
